Stage 3 offers the highest possible quality and service to those in the photography, video, film, production and advertising industries by means of our state-of-the-art facility located centrally within the Detroit Metropolitan area.
Our facility was purpose-built with the needs and expectations of the modern production professional in mind. Unique from other facilities that were converted for use as a studio, our facility was designed and built based on 25 years of commercial photography and production experience.

North Stage (X-Large Studio A)
The North Stage has a large eggshell cove complete with full return, 3 sided cyc and 2,000 amps of power. This stage also comes with the option of a custom 10’ x 40’ overhead lightbank, tungsten or strobe.

This unique deck provides you with the ability to capture your subject with natural light in an unobstructed horizon.

People always seem to look better when photographed in natural lighting. That’s why the Daylight Portrait Studio was custom designed to meet the needs of portrait, fashion and tabletop product photographers.

Stage 3 goes global by providing the sports, news, corporate and entertainment industries with Moonlink. A mobile satellite uplink truck with both C/KU hybrid signals for standard and hi-def video, audio, digital or analog transmissions.
CGI & Design Studio
CGI lets us exceed the physical boundaries of conventional photography and video. Using a combination of unique skills, experience, talent and sophisticated software, Stage 3's CGI artists create captivating images that come alive.
Our on-site designers can create fully integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns, including web design, search engine optimization and innovative print design. Our team of talented designers ensure that when you come to Stage 3, you get the perfect combination of experience, creativity, passion and determination.
Studio Lounge
At Stage 3 we understand the need to take a break sometimes, check your e-mail or just relax with a magazine while you wait for a vehicle to arrive. That’s why we provide a comfortable studio lounge for all our rental clients.
Studio lounges come with high speed wireless and T1 Internet connection, chairs and couches, cable television and DVD player.
Client Conference Room
Often our clients need a place to meet and discuss the details of a shoot or production, and we are happy to provide several well-equipped conference rooms for just this purpose.
Within each conference room there are high speed wireless and T1 Internet connection, multiple white boards, legal pads and multiple A/V equipment for conducting efficient meetings and conferences.
Studio Kitchen
Each Stage 3 rental includes the use of one of our large, fully-equipped kitchens complete with oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and dining area.
Catering services are available through a number of local contacts or you can bring your own food over the course of your project.
Dressing Rooms with Showers
Each Stage 3 studio rental includes the use of a private dressing room with showers, makeup lights and your own set of men's and women's restrooms.
On-Site Progress Proofs & Digital Retouching
Many photographers today like to have an idea about the final printed output of their work while they are still at the studio just in case they want to make any changes. That's why we offer the most advanced computers, small-large format printing, and accurate color progress proofs on-site.
Our retouching artists are experienced at making an image its absolute best. We work with you to determine what's needed from simple color and fit corrections to extensive visual effects.
